Hazel and Ross – Autumn wedding at Harelaw Farm

Surrounded by family and friends, and the stunning Ayrshire countryside at Harelaw Farm, Hazel and Ross celebrated their autumn wedding with laughter, love and a barn-full of style. For her bridal bouquet Hazel chose gorgeous large head and scented O’Hara roses, snap dragon, astilbe, eringium thistle, hydrangea and gypsophillia in shades of white, which I created with the addition of eucalyptus, populus and soft ruscus foliage.

The bridesmaid’s bouquet and the adorable flower girls flower crowns were made using the same variety of flowers to compliment the bridal bouquet and wedding theme. Ross and his groomsmen wore a single rose and thistle buttonhole on the lapel of their smart kilt jackets.

To decorate the barn where their wedding nuptials were held, the newlyweds opted for stylish milk urns bursting with fragrant roses, hydrangeas and gypsophillia which after the wedding ceremony were positioned either side of the top table. A stunning foliage centre piece added the finishing touch.

The beauty of hosting your wedding in a venue like Harelaw Farm is that you have a blank canvas to create your very own version of all those weddings you’ve admired on Instagram or in bridal magazines. Walk down the aisle towards an archway of roses and pretty hydrangeas, or grand pedestal arrangements with vibrant coloured orchids, or large vintage inspired vases filled with delicate scented blooms.

Thanks to Hazel and Ross for sharing the photographs from their special day, Lynn at Photography 78 really captured the magical moments in these beautiful images.
